Robert Baker is a recognised thought leader, speaker, executive coach, mentor and consultant, helping organisations realise the power of a truly diverse workforce. He works in partnership with business leaders, helping them overcome organisational challenges to build an inclusive culture and so unleash the full potential of their talent.
Robert has over forty years experience in global HR consulting and led an International Diversity & Inclusion Consulting Practice.
Robert has developed a portfolio career and has re-invented himself for his “Next Chapter”. Robert is Founder and CEO of his own business, Potentia Talent Consulting, which provides consulting and workshops for companies on diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
He is also is Disruptor in Residence in Diversity & Inclusion on the EDHEC Business School Global MBA Programme and a visiting lecturer on D&I for the University of Amsterdam Academy. He is a Board member of One Loud Voice for Women and sits on the Advisory Board for the Sister Sister Global Network. Robert is a Companion to the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the UK, a Non Executive Director at Talupp, the AI driven talent development platform and at Spktral, the gender and ethnicity pay gap specialists.
Robert speaks regularly at conferences and contributes to podcasts and blogs on all aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion. He was a panellist at the recent CMI Women Conference 2022 on the topic of Energising Change Towards Gender Equality in the Workplace. He will be speaking at the Rise & Lead Summit in the Hague in September.
